Founded in 1998, the MIT-India Program offers student opportunities and on-campus cultural events for the MIT community. Support from MIT-India made it possible for MIT students to travel to India and engage with the community to find projects they could help move forward.

IMEL is an undergraduate research group at MIT founded and led by Dr. Kyle Keane. Staff and students from IMEL volunteer time to conduct workshops and help move projects forward after events.

Support from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology made it possible for us to send core teaching staff to run workshops in India in Winter 2019.

Established in 1987, L V Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI), a World Health Organization Collaborating Centre for Prevention of Blindness, is a comprehensive eye health facility. The Institute offers comprehensive patient care, sight enhancement and rehabilitation services and high-impact rural eye health programs. LVPEI is a cooperating partner who has helped organize and run a Humanistic Co-design workshop in January 2019.

SPI Cinemas is one of the pioneers in bringing Cinema to the masses along with innovative technologies to India. They were instrumental in bringing the Humanistic Co-design Initiative in India through workshops in August 2018 and January 2019.

v-shesh is a Chennai based social enterprise which works in the area of disability inclusion. This involves assisting (a)Persons with Disabilities (PwD) with training and job connections and (b) Organisations with disability inclusion related efforts in socio-economic inclusion as employees, students or customers. v-shesh has been an essential partner since the first workshop in Chennai in August 2018, we oew them our sincerest gratitude for bringing people with disabilities to our events so the students can learn and grow in heart and mind.
The Humanistic Co-design Initiative is a cooperative of individuals, organizations and institutions working together to increase awareness about how designers, makers, and engineers can apply their skills in collaboration with people who have disabilities through the Humanistic Co-design Process to develop new and innovative assistive technologies.
